01 - 3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

06 - 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled
07 - 1 large egg, room temperature

08 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

# Directions:

01 - Combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast in a large bowl. Let sit 5–10 minutes until foamy.
02 - Add melted butter, egg, and salt to the yeast mixture. Stir until combined.
03 - Gradually add flour, stirring with a wooden spoon or dough hook until a soft dough forms.
04 - Knead dough on a floured surface or with a mixer for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
05 - Place dough in a greased bowl, cover with towel, and let rise in a warm spot for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
06 - Punch down dough, divide into 12 equal pieces, and shape each into a smooth ball.
07 - Arrange balls in a greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Cover and let rise 30–40 minutes until puffy.
08 - Set oven temperature to 375°F (190°C).
09 - Brush rolls with melted butter before baking.
10 - Bake rolls for 18–20 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
11 - Remove rolls from oven, brush with remaining melted butter, and let cool slightly before serving.
